Founding Thesis

AI has fundamentally changed the labor economics of management consulting, nonprofit operations, and the intersection of the two.

Hands-on, contextually-cognizant, high-quality support was previously reserved for cash-rich institutions. This is no longer true. A relatively small investment of resources (time, energy, money) can make running your nonprofit WAY less burdensome.

What takes an organization from 1 to 3, and 3 to 10, is not the same thing as 10 to 100.

A lot of organizations have processes that were built years ago, when the team was smaller, and the scale of operations wasn't what it is now. The org grew. The complexity multiplied. The systems didn't always catch up.

FCG Impact exists to help combat that inertia. A caring outside perspective, concentrated attention, good questions, and real implementation support can be transformational.

FCG Impact was founded by Ryan Fidell on a simple belief: mission-driven organizations do their best work when someone helps them step back, name the gaps, and invest their finite resources where they generate the most impact.

We partner with nonprofit leaders ready to optimize, focus, modernize, and grow sustainably.

The work sits at the intersection of strategy, management, collaboration, operations, and implementation. Our job is to bring the right people to the table, set the agenda properly, ask strong questions, and help teams determine the smartest strategy and architecture to achieve their goals inside real constraints.

It's not rocket science. But when it's done effectively, it can be transformational.
